The Amia Chair by Steelcase combines sophistication and engineering in a streamlined, minimalist design, reimagined by Chairorama. Steelcase's patented LiveLumbar system provides dynamic, consistent lower lumbar support with hidden flexors in the backrest, without visible controls.

The arms adjust in four dimensions (4D) for ergonomic performance and an adaptable seating edge. These features create a chair that fits executive offices, conference rooms, and home workspaces. The chair supports up to 400 lbs, is BIFMA Level 3 certified, and comes with a 12-year warranty.

The synchronization tilt adjustment allows you to customize how far or how quickly the chair tilts back. With clearly labeled manual controls, you can set tilt tension, recline angle, and enable upright-back locking for any task or working style.

A 3-inch seat depth adjustment (15.5 to 18.5 in / 17.5 cm) along with enhanced leg support options accommodates users of varying heights. The adjustable seat height (16–21 in / 20–135 cm) supports individuals from 5'0" to 6'5" (0 to 197) through a smooth pneumatic height-adjustment mechanism.

LiveLumbar support technology adapts naturally to the user’s spine shape without the need for visible adjustments. With dual side handles, it’s easy to fine-tune the lumbar height based on personal comfort and available workspace.

The flex seat adjusts to the user’s weight and posture, whether reclined or seated for extended periods, helping reduce pressure on the legs. Its flexible design allows users to transition smoothly between various sitting positions—such as perching, side-sitting, or crossing their legs—while maintaining consistent comfort.
